Dream Ride Australia The Cool 4 Kids team were proud to work closely with Romeo’s Retail Group at the first ever Adelaide Dream Ride Experience last Sunday 29th April 2018. Dream Ride Australia provides kids with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities with a dream day out.

The day kicked off with a special VIP breakfast. Participants were then paired with a ‘Dream Rider’ for the ride of their life in an exotic, sports, prestigious or luxury car. During the day thousands of people visited Wigley Reserve in Glenelg to experience the Dream Ride event. They were able to get up close and view all of the magnificent vehicles. There was loads of family friendly entertainment. Jumping castles, kids rides, fairy floss stalls and plenty of amazing food.

Dream Ride Australia – what a success!

Cool 4 Kids provided free face painting, balloon sculpting and glitter tattoos from 10am to 3pm.  At lunch time Tony Genovese from Cool 4 Kids presented a very special music concert. There was singing, dancing, hula hooping and giant parachute play games. Kym Dillon was on hand to emcee for the day. Then it was time for the start of the first ever Dream Ride event in Adelaide, South Australia. The police led the way as the participants began their Dream Ride car drive to the loud cheers of the crowd.

Dream Ride Australia Upon their return, the participating children were honoured with a special red carpet affair. They all received a medal, capping off a remarkable day they’ll never forget. Adelady were there to announce every participant by name, as they walked down the red carpet, with giant smiles of happiness.

A BIG thank you to foundation 21 for their help in making this dream a reality for these beautiful kids. To the major sponsors Romeo’s Retail Group and Balfours Bakery, and to all the AMAZING drivers and volunteers – you guys rock! #DreamRide18
