Learning through Music and Movement with Cool 4 Kids
Music has long been regarded as an important part of early childhood education. Firstly, music is a powerful tool for learning and development. It encourages babies, toddlers and kindergarten aged children to connect with others. Secondly, it helps children with expressing themselves. Thirdly, it assists in helping children explore and make meaning through their senses.
Expressing ourselves through Music and Movement
Tony has been presenting monthly music and movement sessions at Mackinnon Parade Children’s Centre for ten years. Similarly for three years he has been presenting at The Learning Sanctuary Norwood and The Learning Sanctuary Thebarton. In addition to this he has commenced fortnightly music sessions at the Green Leaves Early Learning Centres in Mawson Lakes, Seaford Heights and Seaford House. You will find him at Findon Community Centre once a month on a Wednesday. This session will run from 10:15 to 10:45 am and is open to the public. In the past he has presented both weekly and fortnightly music programs at Kidz Club in Modbury, Elizabeth North Primary School and Elizabeth Vale Primary School.
Explore and Make Meaning through our Senses with Music and Movement
Music should be fun and interactive and relate to the everyday things that happen in our lives. Tony looks forward to helping children grow and have the best possible start in life.
