Easter – time for an Easter egg hunt!

Crocs Playcentre in Kilburn hosted a Happy Easter Show on the last Friday in March. The venue was packed full of excited children. They sang and danced with both our bunnies. There was also a special hide and seek game! The bunnies secretly hid lots of Easter eggs. On their return, they allowed the children to go and search for the chocolate eggs. Firstly, everyone had to go on a treasure hunt to find the hidden eggs. Secondly, when they found some eggs they had to bring them back to home base. Lastly, all eggs were placed in a large basket and then were evenly shared out.

Meet and greet the Easter Bunnies!

Recently at the St Peters Fair both mascots put in another appearance. Children adore meeting the Easter Bunnies and giving them a cuddle. Others give a high five and many love posing for photos. Both Easter Bunnies are excited to offer special meet and greet sessions. You can contact Tony on 0401 332 176 or info@cool4kids.com.au and arrange a visit. They will be visiting many child care centres and kindergartens. These include the Learning Sanctuary in Norwood and Kidz Club in Modbury.

On Sunday, 7th of April Flopsy Bunny visited all of the children at the Feast Day of Saint George. It is a special Italian Feast day called San Giorgio Martire Festa. The day began with a street procession. Afterwards there was plenty of Italian music including Mambo Italiano. Later on guests enjoyed the delicious food. This was held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Newton. Easter Bunny brought lots of smiles and laughter to all of the parents and grandparents too. The young children enjoyed opening the little bubble gift from our bunny helpers. There was also free face painting and balloon sculpting by our team.

Easter Bunny songs and toys in the Happy Easter Show!

Tony has been presenting music sessions at many child care centres. Armed with a load of Easter Bunny toys the children have celebrated this important time of the year. They have sung lots of Easter themed songs with puppets and toys. The children have enjoyed jumping and hopping around while Tony plays music on his guitar. In fact many children have started to bring along their own play guitars so they can join in! How cute 🙂 All children have played along with egg shakers and joined in the many action and movement games.
